The Reducing Machine is a machine which Newton Gimmick invented and operated on the Reducing Crystal (Crystal One) from the Hard to Find City. In Episode 6: Take a Good Look, Gimmick uses this invention to shrink Teddy, Grubby, and himself to three-fourths of an inch or so. They find a whole other world in Gimmick's house when they look at it from a bug's point of view (save Grubby). They use the machine to then restore themselves to normal size, only to find that they've enlarged Gimmick's pet fob, Fuzz. Then they restore everything to normal (but what about the mess?) A portable version of this machine was later invented and had many other uses in the series.
